Before You Light

• Trim wick to ¼ inch before each burn to prevent soot and flickering.
• Ensure wax pool is free of debris (matches, wick trimmings).
• Remove the lid and place candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, pets, and children.

While Burning

• Burn for 2–4 hours to allow wax to melt evenly and avoid tunneling.
• Never leave a candle unattended.
• Do not move candle while wax is hot or liquid.

After Use

• Extinguish with a snuffer to minimize smoke and preserve scent.
• Let wax cool completely before replacing the lid or relighting.
• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Pro Tip

• Avoid placing candles near vents or fans—airflow causes flickering and soot.

Processing Time: Orders are hand-processed within 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday) from the New York, NY studio. Changes or cancellations can be made within 8 hours of purchase.

Domestic Shipping: The company uses USPS and UPS with the following options:

• Standard Ground (3–5 Business Days): Flat Rate of $8.95 USD.
• Priority/Express (1–3 Business Days): Cost is calculated at checkout.
• Free Shipping: Standard Ground is free for orders over $65.00 USD.

Packaging: Commitment to ethical standards by using sustainable and protective packaging (e.g., recycled kraft paper).

Hot Weather Warning (Soy Wax): Because soy wax melts easily, the policy includes special precautions:

• Shipping may be limited to Mondays through Wednesdays during peak heat.
• Customers must immediately bring packages inside upon delivery to prevent melting.
• Softening/melting is normal for natural wax and does not affect quality; cooling the candle will fix it.

Liability: Tracking is provided, but HANA LUMIÈRE is not responsible for packages marked "Delivered" that are subsequently lost or stolen. Customers must file claims directly with the carrier.

International Shipping: The company currently ships only within the United States

Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy

Cancellations
Orders can be canceled within 8 hours of purchase. After that, we begin processing to ensure timely delivery. If you need to cancel, please email us at hello.hanalumiere@hotmail.com as soon as possible.

Returns
Due to the nature of our handmade candles, we do not accept returns unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect. If there’s an issue with your order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number.

Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for processing.
We do not offer refunds for candles that have been used.
